Abstract

The economic mobility, technology and apparent development of the Zionist regime has had a pleasant appearance for some governments in the region in normalizing relations with this regime. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of economic factors in the normalization of relations between the Zionist regime and West Asian countries during the years 2010 to 2022. In terms of its purpose, the article is a part of applied research, and in terms of its method, it is descriptive-analytical. Due to the retrospective study, from library sources and documents, and to complete the unknown, an interview was also conducted with 6 specialists in the issues of the Zionist regime. The results showed that despite the importance of the role of economic factors, this factor has not yet been able to justify the militant and occupying nature of the Zionist regime in the eyes of the people of the region. Although the regime considered the economy as an important driving force in the development of relations and normalization in the region in its short-term and long-term strategies, it became clear by examining each country in the region that this factor did not play a significant role in the normalization of relations.
