Abstract

Gasoline is considered one of the most important and strategic products that is produced in oil refineries and among the consumption of energy products, motor gasoline consumption in Iran alone has a share of about 43%, so the most attention to effective management is required. The trend of increasing gasoline consumption in 1401 sounded the alarm to enter the channel of gasoline shortage and forced to import this product and may lead to the loss of export opportunities. Also, population growth puts considerable strain on available resources and significantly affects climate change. Besides, the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries are one of the most polluting industries in the world. Therefore, in recent years, the effective implementation of sustainable methods in the supply chains of this industry as one of the solutions to meet these environmental challenges has been considered by researchers and practitioners in this field. Hence, one of the most important activities is to try to model and ultimately optimize these chains. The present study aims to be able to provide a framework for the development of a mathematical optimization model of the country's sustainable gasoline supply chain. Therefore, in addition to providing an executive framework, it also deals with the methods of data collection and analysis of each of the executive steps of the proposed framework. By using the proposed framework, the goals explained in the strategic document of comprehensive energy planning of the country regarding the adoption of optimal and sustainable strategic decisions can be achieved.
