The increase in border threats in the last few decades - human trafficking, drugs and illegal immigration - has led to the trend towards the use of advanced technologies in the monitoring of border areas. The existence of border barriers is no longer enough to ensure border security. Border barriers increasingly require complex and advanced technologies and create new industries and new international markets in which the private sector plays a prominent role. The post-September 11 environment has led to the securitization of border discourses, discourses that support the militarization of border lines. This issue has accelerated the process of strengthening the border and served the military-industrial complex. States are constantly thinking of newer and more up-to-date technologies so that they can have a better and more efficient arrangement against border threats. As a result, a potential and very profitable opportunity and market is provided for military-industrial complexes. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the role of industrial-military complexes and new technologies in increasing border arrangements with a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research show that the border security technologies promoted by arms manufacturing companies to ensure border security change the border in a paradoxical way. Surveillance technologies, by suggesting and improving border security along their depth and length, make the border virtually impenetrable, and geographically, these technologies turn the border into a buffer zone. افزایش تهدیدات مرزی در چند دهه اخیر ـ قاچاق انسان، مواد مخدر و مهاجرت غیرقانونی ـ باعث گرایش به سمت استفاده از فناوری‌های پیشرفته در پایش مناطق مرزی شده است. موانع مرزی به طور فزاینده نیازمند فناوری‌های پیچیده و پیشرفته هستند و باعث ایجاد صنایع جدید و بازارهای جدید بین‌المللی می‌شوند که در آن بخش خصوصی نقش برجسته‌ای ایفا می‌کند. دولت-ها مدام در اندیشه فناوری‌های جدیدتر و به‌روزتر هستند تا بتوانند آرایش بهتر و کارآمدتری در برابر تهدیدات مرزی داشته باشند. در نتیجه فرصت و بازار بالقوه و‌ بسیار سودآوری برای مجتمع-های صنعتی ـ نظامی فراهم می‌شود. هدف این پژوهش آن است که با روشی توصیفی ـ تحلیلی به بررسی و تحلیل نقش مجتمع‌های صنعتی ـ نظامی و فناوری‌های جدید در افزایش تمهیدات مرزی بپردازد. در این پژوهش حوزه تأثیر مجموعه‌های صنعتی ـ نظامی در امر افزایش واپایش مرزی در قالب چهار شاخص امنیتی، سیاسی، ارتباطی و حقوقی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. برای پی بردن به میزان تأثیر این مجموعه‌ها از سه روش ضریب همبستگی پیرسون، آزمون T تک‌نمونه‌ای و رگرسیون خطی استفاده شده است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد فناوری‌های امنیت مرزی که شرکت‌های تولیدکنندۀ تسلیحات جهت تضمین امنیت مرز ترویج می‌کنند باعث افزایش نقش-آفرینی مجموعه‌های صنعتی ـ نظامی در امر تمهیدات مرزی می‌شود. فناوری‌های نظارتی با پیشنهاد واپایش و ارتقای امنیت مرزها در امتداد عمق و طول آن‌ها، مرز را به لحاظ مجازی نفوذناپذیر می‌کنند و به لحاظ جغرافیایی این فناوری‌ها مرز را به منطقه‌ای حائل تبدیل می‌کنند. https://smsnds.sndu.ac.ir/article_3538_20bc5dccce7f079b38922e0c002432b0.pdf
